Star Farm is a small working farm, run by Fiona and Peter.
The farm has a herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle and a flock of Poll Dorset sheep, all of which graze the surrounding fields and can usually be seen from the cottage.
When we converted the barn into a luxury holiday cottage in 2009, we aimed to provide a comfortable and romantic retreat for couples to use at any time of the year. The property is a wonderful place to stay, whether it is for a longer break exploring Dorset and the Jurassic Coast or simply a romantic break in beautiful countryside.
We have recently been awarded a Gold Award from Visit Britain in recognition of the exceptionally high standard of the cottage.
When designing our cottage, as well as making sure the décor and furnishings are of the highest standard,
we also tried to include other small luxury touches such as a (stocked!) wine fridge, complimentary
high speed broadband access, flat screen HD TVs and large DVD library etc to try and make sure that your stay is as
relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
